Block.IS Innovator – CAM Engineering

CAM Engineering is a company founded in 1999 in Novi Sad, Serbia, as Center for Automation and Mechatronics (CAM) and was dedicated to bringing automation solutions to industrial and non-industrial business areas. From 2011, CAM Engineering has entered the ICT sector, developing software in automation, wireless sensor networks (WSN), ID technologies, mobile applications, etc. More recently, it is developing software solutions for the agri-food sector, with projects in e-commerce and crop management with WSN.

Organic Agriculture is a production system that sustains the health of soils, ecosystems and people. It relies on ecological processes, biodiversity and cycles adapted to local conditions, rather than the use of inputs with adverse effects. It is very important to have reliable data from the history of fields treatment. These data are crucial for making decisions about the quality of soil and for certification of fields for organic production. Keeping secured data from the history of fields, we are preparing our society, environment, and economy for a sustainable future.
