Open Calls for Startups & SMEs

Block.IS organised two acceleration processes to attract, select and fund the best of the best SMEs to generate blockchain-based products, processes and business models with strong market potential in the sectors of agri-food, logistics and finance. Block.IS has already organised Open Calls associated with Acceleration Process #1 (i.e., Open Call #1) and Acceleration Process #2 (i.e., Open Call #2).

The Block.IS Acceleration Process #3 aims to provide a second chance to the projects that have completed successfully the INNOVATE Phase of either Acceleration Process #1 or #2, but did not manage to enter EXPERIMENT Phase #1 or #2, mainly due to budget constraints.

Under this viewpoint, Block.IS introduces the EXPERIMENT Phase #3, which aims to select 5 projects with maximum commercial/impact potential and provide to each one of them acceleration services and a voucher of €12.000 as financial support to run the EXPERIMENT and enter the market. Moreover, the project that will manage to show the maximum market potential and impact at the European level will receive an additional prize of at least €6.000!

The Block.IS invites all SMEs that have successfully completed the Block.IS Innovation Phase of either Open Call #1 or #2 but did not enter the relevant Experiment Phase to submit a proposal to the Block.IS Acceleration Process #3!
