For a technology that has been around for a little over 10 years, Blockchain has seen more than its fair share of irrational exuberance and unfair dismissal. The hype period between 2017 and 2018 convinced a large number of people that Blockchain will save the world by tackling every major problem of modern society. When these predictions inevitably did not come to pass many in the business world were quick to dismiss it as nothing more than hype.
